The archive contains geospatial data such as Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR) Channel Data, NOAA AVHRR-based NDVI Data,Landsat TM, Land Use-Land Cover, World Database on protected areas (biosphere reserves, RAMSAR and World Heritage sites. Basic data are also offered, including boundaries (province and county), digital elevation models (DEM), stream network, and transportation systems.

Hosted by University of Michigan, this dataset integrates historical, social and natural science data in a geographic information system. Data is offered as tables, printable maps, and charts. It also offers three interactive maps at provincial level, prefecture city and county levels, allowing to display statistics, histograms and time trend charts. The interactive mapping tools permit to customize the appearance and functionality of the interactive map and its corresponding report. Data freely available to TAMU members

As part of WDC datasets, NASA's Socioeconomic Data and Applications Center (SEDAC) hosts the WDC for Human Interactions in the Environment. Stand alone web application that allows viewing, activating, adding and reordering available data layers from SEDAC catalog. User may print any view and save used layers list as an .xml file that can be loaded later using the load context tool. It also offers a map gallery of about 320 world and regional maps (JPEG/ PDF) of themes such as  climate, conservation, governance, hazards, health, population, poverty and sustainability
