Returning Books
Books must be returned or renewed by the due date.
Some materials must be returned to the desk where you checked them out. For Example: Inter-Library Loan (yellow straps), Media and Reserves, Maps, Study Room Keys, and Current Periodicals
Recalled books should be returned to a library service desk.
Book Drop Locations:
- Evans Library Concourse
- Across the street from Weisenbaker Engineering Center (WERC) on Bizzell Street
- Next to Sbisa Dining Hall, at the corner of Houston Street and Hogg
- Near Blocker and Engineering/Physics Lab Buildings off of Parking Area 7
- Off public parking area behind West Campus Library
Do NOT leave books piled on or next to the book drop. Do NOT damage books by forcing them in. More about lost, damaged books
Book drops may be locked or not emptied on official holidays.
Returning Books by Mail
Books can be mailed back to the library. Use USPS First Class service or a delivery service (UPS/FedEx/DHL, etc.) to ensure timely arrival. Do not use book rate to send books (as they take weeks in transit). Recommend insuring mailed books.
