Evaluating SourcesThink before you click and print! The library has some handouts to help you critically evaluate the information you find on web sites (or any type of information resource). Remember, anyone can publish anything on the Web. As researchers it is your duty to decide whether or not the information you find is accurate and suitable for your research needs. If in doubt, check with a librarian or your professor.
Map and GIS Collections and ServicesThe library holds worldwide maps and GIS data on numerous themes. The collection includes an extensive selection of College Station topographic maps and aerial photos covering a range of time periods, as well as GIS data for the local area. Staff are available to support your research project. University Writing CenterEvans Library, 2nd Floor The Writing Center's web page is a great source of information for writers and gives you the opportunity to request an appointment, view helpful handouts, or get basic information about their services. |
