Web 2.0/Social Networking
Web 2.0
What is Web 2.0?
"Web 2.0" is the term used to describe a variety of new World Wide Web technologies. These innovative applications use the Web as a platform (as opposed to client side software) to deliver collaborative resources that empower Web users through harnessing their collective intelligence. Whereas the old Web "pushed" information to users, Web 2.0 allows users to both receive, manipulate, and create information in dynamic dialogues.
This resource guide provides basic information about many popular Web 2.0 technologies, as well as links to the applications themselves. Considering that Web 2.0 is constantly evolving (some might argue that we are at Web 3.0 now), check this guide from time to time for updates.
