Staff Appreciation Week at the Libraries

In honor of Staff Appreciation Week, the Libraries will be putting on a series of events for their staff members to attend.

Monday, February 29

Throughout the day staff members will be getting gift baskets delivered to each department as a "thank you" for all that they do.

Friday, March 4

Staff is invited to "Take a Break" by participating in several free, relaxing events. Please acquire permission from your supervisor before attending the events.

9:00 am - Breakfast

Free Kolaches and assorted fruit trays will be set up in Evans 204E, West Campus Library Break Room and Medical Sciences Library Break Room for staff to enjoy a free breakfast to start the day, in the location most convenient for you.

10:00 am - Movie 
Evans Annex Room 417C

Come relax and watch Two Weeks Notice (feat. Sandra Bullock and Hugh Grant), snacks will be provided.

10:00 am - 2:00 pm - Photo Booth
Evans Library Room 204E
Come take a picture in our library photo booth for a chance to win library swag and free shirts. Available props involve superhero, disney, Harry Potter and other fun themes.

11:00 am - 1:00 pm - Pet Therapy Dogs
MSL Special Collections Room

Aggieland Pets with a Purpose will be bringing therapy dogs for staff to pet and unwind with around their lunch breaks.

2:00 pm - Movie
Evans Annex Room 417C

Come relax and watch The Princess Bride (feat. Cary Elwes and Robin Wright), snacks will be provided.

4:00pm - Movie
Evans Annex Room 417C

Come relax and watch The Martian (feat. Matt Damon), snacks will be provided. 

All Day

Evans and MSL will both host "stress buster" rooms with games and coloring books, as well as "quiet rooms" where staff can either read or relax in silence.
