Beth German Elected President of RUSA

The Texas A&M University Libraries are proud to announce that Assistant Professor Beth German has been elected as the Vice President/President Elect of ALA’s Reference & User Services Association (RUSA).

German will serve her Presidential term in 2019-2020.

“This is a testament to Beth’s leadership within the profession and the substantial work she has been doing in support of RUSA over the last number of years,” said Associate Professor Susan Goodwin.

The Reference and User Services Association (RUSA) is a division of the American Library Association.  RUSA serves all types of libraries in reference, user services, adult readers advisory and collection development as well as resource sharing, genealogy and archives, business reference and reference technology

German earned a Master of Science in Library and Information from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in 2009.
