Disaster Planning Presentation November 19

Texas A&M University Libraries Records Management and the Division of Finance Financial Management Operations (FMO) will co-sponsor a presentation on Wednesday, November 19, from 1:00 -5:00 pm. Laura Finger, Government Records Analyst with the Texas State Library and Archives Commission, will present the newly redesigned class on Disaster Planning. Aimed at protecting the records necessary to continue operations during a disaster, the class will emphasize how Texas A&M can fulfill requirements for COOP (Continuity of Operations) planning and vital records protection by creating and maintaining a vital records program. A general question and answer period will take place at the end of the presentation. 

The class will be held in the General Services Complex assembly room on the first floor. To reserve a spot for this training, individuals should contact RMDesk@lib-gw.tamu.edu or call Meg Carpenter at 458-1470.
