You can now receive text message notifications about books, articles, theses and dissertations and other materials you request from the popular delivery service, Get it for me. Signing up for this feature is easy; just follow the instructions below.
If registering for the first time:
In Email Address field – type email address, then a comma, then your cell phone number including area code and the extension for your provider. No spaces or dashes.
Ex: Joe Aggie’s Verizon provider extension is @vtext.com, so he would type:
joeaggie@tamu.edu,8147891234@vtext.com
Existing accounts:
Log in----Tools----Change User Information----Follow instructions above----Submit Information
