Library Launches New Web Site
Navigating the web pages of the University Libraries will be smoother sailing with the launch of a new web site on August 15. The new look and feel incorporates users’ suggestions from focus groups and their feedback from the LibQUAL+ annual survey which measures service satisfaction.
“Our web site is the gateway to information resources at the University Libraries. Most of our users depend on the web page for their research, teaching, and learning needs. We want them to have a successful experience and help them find what they need as quickly as possible,” explained Colleen Cook, Dean of the University Libraries.
Campus users can search across library catalogs, databases, e-journals, articles and the web site itself, even limiting their search to branch library content. They can optionally log in using their NetIDs for personalized tools and services. Users can easily suggest the purchase of books, renew library materials, request document delivery, access class guides, manage course reserves, find information on reserving study rooms and laptops, and much more.
We encourage your feedback about the new website. Please let us know what you think!
