Services

The pages in the Services area of the site provide information on some of the many general services the Library provides. Services specifically related to finding and using library materials can be found in the Research Support area of the site.  

Borrowing Library Materials
Provides information about checking out library materials and related services including borrower responsibilities, circulation locations, information related to different categories of library users, overdue fines & procedures, recalling books, renewing library materials, and searching for books.

Course Reserves
Provides information the library's course reserve services including copyright & fair use information, electronic course reserves, finding materials placed on reserve, and putting materials on reserve.

Interlibrary Loans
Provides access to and information about the deliverEdocs system used to request and disseminate materials not owned by the TAMU Libraries.

Multimedia Viewing & Editing
Provides information about the library facilities available to user for viewing and editing multimedia materials including hardware, software, duplication services, and showing rooms.

Request Forms
Provides access to all online forms on the Library's web site including ones that allow users to update their address in the library's system, renew their library materials, make purchase recommendations, place items on course reserve, and request library instruction.

Study Spaces
Provides information about group and quiet study areas as well as carrels and group study rooms in the TAMU Libraries.

Support Equipment
Provides information equipment to support library use including printers, photocopiers, public computers, notebook computers that can be checked out, microfilm and microfiche readers and printers, and typewriters.

Tours, Classes, and Orientations
Provides information about instruction on using the library's facilities, collections, and services.

Additional Services
Provides information about other specialized services available in the library including lost & found, distance education, patent services, records management, Thesis & Dissertation Office, and the Writing Center.
