The following equipment can be checked out from the Media & Reserves desk on the 4th floor of the Library Annex.  All Media Equipment must be returned to Media & Reserves, 4^th Floor Library Annex.

Typewriters in the Evans Library

• Available for use by any patron. No checkout necessary.
• Typewriter(s) have correction tape and spell check features.
• There are typewriters in WCL and MSL.

Microform Readers, Scanners & Printers in the Evans Library

• Available on the 2nd floor of the Evans Library.
• Readers attached to computers, will allow patrons to scan microform materials and edit to improve quality. 
• A text magnifier is available that will magnify, scan and save/print opaque formats including microprint or regular textual materials.
• Digitized files can be saved to CD-ROM or flash drive at no cost or printed on the networked printer for 10 cents per page.
• Library Staff is available for help in locating materials or using the readers.

Laptops for Checkout in Evans Library and the Annex

• Wireless-enabled Dell laptops can be checked-out for use within the Evans Library and Library Annex facilities.
• They may be checked-out at the Evans or Annex 'Ask Us' Desks by TAMU instructors, students and staff for 4-hours, and can be renewed as availability permits.
• For more information, please contact the 'Ask Us' Desk on the 1st floor of the Evans or Annex Library or call 979-845-5741.
• For library patrons wishing to use their personal laptops, the Libraries also provide both wired and wireless access to the campus network.
