Connect your ORCiD

I am running in Sandbox mode.  Because of this, a unique "Suggested" email address will be populated.  The hostname of the suggested email address is required for this to work in Sandbox mode.  You can goto https://www.mailinator.com/ and view the email ORCiD sends during this process.

Here is a button that will assit with creating an ORCiD.

Since no authentication takes place we rely on the end user to fill the form out completely.  We will also will not be able to match with 100% that X person created Y ORCiD.  After the ORCiD is minted what is returned to TAMU is the First Name, Last Name, and ORCiD of the record.  The First Name and Last Name are whatever the person decides to type in.

Here is a button that will validate the persons ID then assist with creating an ORCiD.  We pass along what information we have to ORCiD but the end user can change if they want.  Since we force the person to authenticate and pass along to ORCiD a unique identifier (TAMU UIN).  ORCiD will then pass the identifier and ORCiD back to TAMU for us to store the match.
