Why Participate?

The IL Academy for Faculty is a professional development initiative designed to help instructors embed information literacy into their teaching across disciplines, courses, and degree programs. Through practical strategies, participants will deepen their knowledge of teaching students not just what to find, but also how to think critically about information needs.

Participants will sharpen their skills in designing research assignments, activities, and learning experiences that foster deeper inquiry and stronger student research habits.
