What You Need to Know About Library Resources:

Current Materials On Loan

Starting May 18, please return library books to Evans Library, West Campus Library, or the book drop in the Allen Building lobby. Please return interlibrary loan books with a maroon strap to a library location, not a book drop.

Interlibrary Loans

There will be no change to University Libraries’ popular Get It For Me and Suggest a Purchase that help you get books, articles, dissertations and other materials from Texas A&M’s library locations and from libraries worldwide.

For Faculty & Staff Only

Please use Get It For Me to request all physical items this summer.
  • Select faculty delivery in your Get It For Me account.
  • Library staff will have items delivered to your mailstop.
  • Once new lockers are installed, remote pick up will be an additional option.

For Students Only

  • Library items can be picked up at Evans Library or West Campus Library.
  • Please change your pick up location in your Get It For Me account to Evans or WCL.
  • Once new lockers are installed, remote pick up will be an additional option.

Librarian Appointments

Use Book a Librarian to arrange a Zoom call with a librarian to help with needs like research, citations and databases. Additional in-person appointments with librarians can be arranged.

Library Reserves & Open Education

Instructors can place digital or physical textbooks and other course materials “on reserve” for students to access for free. Library staff will work with instructors to place physical reserves at the library closest to your assigned classroom. The Libraries OpenEd office helps faculty discover and implement low- or no-cost textbooks and educational materials.

Study Spaces

Students will have access to a variety of study spaces, including reservable study rooms at the other library locations.

Information Literacy

Check out University Libraries’ many teaching resources, including a range of information, research and AI modules, tutorials and resources. You can even invite a librarian to talk to your class about research skills.
