work with us
The Libraries serve one of the largest universities in the nation with over 77,000 students, and 4,000 faculty members. To serve these groups effectively, the Libraries are provided with an abundance of resources to support librarians and librarian professionals.
Employment OpportunitiesStaff Advisory Council
The University Libraries Staff Advisory Council (LSAC) fosters growth, strengthens community connection, facilitates transparent communication, and serves as a deliberative and advisory body of elected employees that advises the University Librarian on matters of significant interest and importance to Libraries Staff. The LSAC encourages input from staff, development of ideas, and generates recommendations for improvement of the Libraries. The LSAC is also responsible for maintaining and reviewing the TAMU Libraries Staff Guidelines. LSAC does not replace the established channels for employee disputes handled by Human Resources & Payroll. In the event of a complaint or grievance, library staff should follow the Complaint & Grievance Process for Nonfaculty Employees.
