About Us

The Medical Sciences Library (MSL), located in the Texas A&M Health Administration Building in Bryan, serves as the primary location of the Medical Sciences Library.

MSL began as the veterinary library for the College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences. Its mission expanded with the establishment of the Texas A&M College of Medicine, and a new library facility was built to support both colleges. A tunnel beneath Raymond Stotzer Parkway connected the library to the College of Veterinary Medicine campus.

As the College of Medicine grew into Texas A&M Health, adding the Colleges of Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Nursing, along with the School of Public Health, the Medical Sciences Library expanded its services to support users across Texas.

Continued growth within Texas A&M Health led the Medical Sciences Library to relocate its primary library space from College Station to the Texas A&M Health campus in Bryan in 2026. Today, the Medical Sciences Library supports faculty, staff, students, residents, interns, and postdoctoral scholars in Bryan, College Station, Dallas, Houston, Kingsville, and Round Rock, as well as medical and pharmacy residency programs throughout the state.
