MSL - Houston
About Us
MSL | Houston serves TAMU Health and EnMed faculty, staff, students, and residents on the Houston Campus. The library is located on the second floor of the EnMed Tower near Houston Methodist Hospital. It is accessible 24/7 through swipe access and staffed by a professional staff member during the work week.
Dedicated space for the library was designated during the creation of the EnMed Tower, which was completed in late 2020. In Early April 2021, the library space was completed, furnished, and opened for patron use via EnMed Tower swipe access.
Staffing our MSL | Houston space has been a challenge, but we were fortunate to hire Gregg Doty, an experienced professional staff member, in June 2023. In December of 2023, Melanie Sorsby was hired to fill the vacant medical librarian position. Melanie will be providing services to Texas A&M affiliates in both the Houston and Willowbrook locations.
