About Us
MSL | Dallas serves TAMU Health and Dentistry faculty, staff, students, and residents on the Dallas Campus. The library is located in a temporary space on the 6th floor of the Administration and Education Building (AEB). Library space is accessible through swipe access and staffed by a professional staff member during the work week.
The College of Dentistry’s temporary library space was established in August 2025 and the permanent library space is being constructed on the 2nd floor of the AEB. Our medical librarian, Lauren Camarillo, was hired in August 2025 and our professional staff member, Rolanda Echols, was hired in September 2025. They are working with key stakeholders across departments to ensure library resources and services are as accessible as possible.
While housed in the temporary space, the library collection, located in AEB 604, is accessible via page service. To check out items, visit AEB 604 at any time and ring the "doorbell" between 8:00AM—4:00PM, Monday through Friday. Library staff availability may be limited due to scheduling requirements. To ensure access to the collection, contact library staff directly to schedule a visit.

Librarian Support: A librarian will be available on the 6th floor of the Academic & Education Building (AEB) during regularly staffed hours to assist with author identity and impact, bibliographic management, curriculum and publication support, as well as database and mediated searching. You can also book a virtual appointment with a librarian.

The Medical Sciences Library (MSL) | Dallas Campus is located on the 6th floor of the Administration and Education Building (AEB) on the TAMU Health College of Dentistry campus. Access to the AEB is restricted through card swipe to those with a valid TAMU Health ID and affiliates.
