OpenEd at Texas A&M champions student success through the development, promotion, and use of OERs. We help faculty discover and implement OERs alongside other free and low-cost instructional materials including library-licensed content and library reserves.

OpenEd helps instructors locate, assess, adapt, create, and implement OERs and open pedagogy in your courses. We provide support for understanding open copyright licenses, public domain materials, library-licensed materials, and fair use copyright law and how they can be used to create a no-cost or low-cost course for students.

Library Purchases
TAMU Libraries purchases course materials when available through library subscriptions. This includes unlimited user ebooks, streaming media, and a limited number of print books. These course materials can be placed on reserve for students, providing all the access but none of the cost!
