Electronic Access
Texas A&M faculty, staff and students can access A&M Library electronic books, journals and databases using your NetID. To have your NetID set up contact the TAMUQ I.T. department. To check whether your NetID has access to A&M Libraries electronic resources use “Check My NetID”. If your NetID does not have access then fill out the form on the same page and submit for review. Unfortunately due to copyright constraints, access to Texas A&M electronic resources can only be provided to Texas A&M faculty, staff & students and is not available to any other library users. If you are not Texas A&M faculty, student or staff, Qatar National Library now also makes a number of electronic resources available to both Qatar Foundation members and the general public in Qatar.
Get It For Me (GIFM)
Get It For Me is a document delivery service, which supplies print books or electronic copies of journal articles or book chapters, free of charge to all students, staff and faculty. However we are unable to send physical materials to our Qatar campus. Digital versions of articles, book chapters, and some ebooks can be sent to our Qatar students and faculty. Purchase Request
If there is a resource that you believe should be added to our collection, please fill out our Purchase Request Form and we will consider the request based on our budget and collection policies. You will be contacted with our purchase decision.
Please Note: We are unable to send physical items to our Qatar students and faculty, but we are able to purchase online resources such as ebooks.
