Visitor Parking

Visitors may park in the Central Campus Parking Garage (see directions below) adjacent to the Library Annex, University Center Garage located on Joe Routt Blvd. or the Northside Parking Garage on University Drive. Visitors needing parking information should call a parking counselor at 862-PARK. Arrangements for conference parking for Library-sponsored functions can be made through the Business Office, at (979) 845-5717. With adequate notice parking can be arranged in one of the garages.

Central Campus Parking Garage

Directions from New Main Dr. (front entrance of campus on Texas Ave.):
From New Main Drive turn left onto Lamar St. As Lamar street curves after first stop sign, stay left on Bizzell St.  At the second stop sign, turn Right at Lubbock Street. Turn Right onto Spence St. (watching for crosswalk traffic) and pull a ticket at the gate and then proceed to the stop sign. Go straight at the stop sign and then turn left into the garage.

Directions from George Bush Drive:
From George Bush Drive turn onto Bizzell St. At second stop sign, turn left onto Lubbock St. Turn right from Lubbock onto Spence St. (watching for crosswalk traffic). Pull a ticket at the gate and then proceed to the stop sign. Go straight at the stop sign and then turn left into the garage.

The garage is random parking (with the first several spaces limited to compact vehicles).  Please park in an available space. Parking payment can be made upon leaving the event at the pay vending machines in the parking garage elevator lobby areas, or you may pay the parking attendant in the parking booth at the entrance of the parking garage.

Handicapped Access

Handicap spaces are available in the garage and in a parking area where Spence St. intersects Lubbock St. or Lamar St.
