Important Notice Regarding Libraries Systems Outages During the Holidays

Computing and Information Services (CIS) will be taking many of the University's servers down next week while they work on the cooling system in the Teague Data Center. (More details)

During that time, most library servers will be down, however, we hope to have the following available most of the time:

While it is possible the servers will be back up sometime Thursday, Dec. 30, we expect everything will be back to normal by Friday, Dec. 31.

Tentative schedule:

Tuesday, Dec. 28

6 p.m. – All library systems go down (this includes the website)
7 p.m. – LibCat, the MSL Catalog, and E-journals come back up.
10 p.m. – The library website, off-campus access to databases, and back-up list of databases will come back up. EVERYTHING ELSE WILL REMAIN DOWN.

Wednesday, Dec. 29

All day – LibCat, the MSL Catalog, E-journals, the library website, off-campus access to databases, and back-up list of databases will be available. EVERYTHING ELSE WILL REMAIN DOWN.

Thursday, Dec. 30

All day – LibCat, the MSL Catalog, E-journals, the library website, off-campus access to databases, and back-up list of databases will be available. EVERYTHING ELSE WILL REMAIN DOWN.

Friday, Dec. 31

Everything should be back to normal.
