Overdue, Damaged & Lost Materials

Lost Materials

If you lose any library material, contact AskUs Services to arrange for a replacement. Material that is not renewed or returned will automatically be declared lost by the system at 30 days overdue. Users will be billed for lost library materials after 60 days. The bill will include the replacement cost of the item, any overdue fines associated with the item, and a non-refundable processing fee ($2.00 if the item is owned by Evans & Annex, West Campus, or PESL, and $25 if the item is owned by the Medical Sciences Library).

For more details see the Texas A&M Libraries’ policy on lost materials.

If you believe you have already returned a book that was declared lost, you can request that the library search for the item.
