• The chance to win a $100 debit card is per poster (individual or team gets one chance)
• You and your team are invited to attend the poster exhibition and Lightning Rounds to discuss your work with the spectators. However, attendance is not mandatory to participate
• The student or team winning the $100 debit card will be informed on GIS Day at the end of the Student Poster Exhibition (4:30 p.m. at Evans Library, Room 204E)
• TAMU and HSC students may participate

 POSTER GUIDELINES 

• GIS and Remote Sensing work accepted
• Submit your poster as individual or team work
• Poster should include introduction, objective, approach, results and discussion/conclusion (or their equivalents)
• Please save your poster as PDF file. Other file formats such as JPEG, JPEG2000 or TIFF images are also accepted, but not preferred
• Poster Size: 36"WX24"H
• Poster Orientation: Landscape ONLY
• Please make sure to set up the image size as 36"WX24"H to avoid resolution issues

REGISTRATION AND POSTER SUBMISSION:

You will automatically be registered by submitting your poster via e-mail (olivares@tamu.edu)

Your e-mail registration MUST include:

• TAMU Student Name (s)
• Poster Title
• Academic Department
• Classification (undergraduate/graduate)
• 100 words abstract explaining your GIS or Remote Sensing work (mandatory to participate)
• Attached poster (PDF)

SUBMISSION DEADLINE:

• FREE PRINT-OUT OPTION

  We will print out your poster at no cost. Electronic file must be submitted via e-mail by Sunday, November 11 by noon CST.

• SELF-PRINTING OPTION

  (You must reserve a place by sending abstract and all required information by Sunday, November 11 by noon CST)
  If you cannot submit the electronic file by the deadline for the free print-out option, you will need to print your poster. The hard-copy poster (Landscape 36"WX24"H) must be hand delivered by Tuesday, November 13 by 10 a.m. CST
