Group Study Rooms

Group study rooms are intended for two or more people involved in a collaborative activity. Individuals should use the individual study rooms located in Evans and Medical Sciences Library. Groups engaging in individual study may use one of the Libraries' open study areas.

Sterling C. Evans Library

Group study rooms are located on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors of the Evans Library. Most rooms include a table, chairs, and a whiteboard. Some rooms on the 1st and 2nd floors also include a wall monitor.

  • 1st Floor - 10 rooms with max capacities of 6 - 10 people
  • 2nd Floor - 3 rooms with max capacities of 10 - 14 people
  • 3rd Floor - 3 rooms with max capacity of 8 people. Quiet floor: Noise must be kept to a minimum.
  • 4th Floor - 2 rooms with max capacity of 8 people.

Evans Annex

Group study rooms are located on the 2nd and 4th floors of the Evans Annex. All rooms include a table, chairs, and whiteboard or chalkboard.

  • 2nd Floor - 46 rooms with max capacities of 4 - 6 people.
  • 4th Floor - 4 rooms with max capacity of 4 people.

BLCC group study room

West Campus Library (WCL)

Group study rooms are located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of WCL. Rooms include a table, chairs, white board, and OAL computer. Some rooms also include a large monitor.

  • 2nd Floor - 7 rooms with max capacities of 5 - 9 people.
  • 3rd Floor - 8 rooms with max capacities of 5 - 9 people. Quiet Floor: Noise must be kept to a minimum.

Medical Sciences Library (MSL)

Group study rooms are located on the 1st and 2nd floors of MSL. Rooms include a table, chairs, and whiteboard. 2nd floor rooms also include an OAL computer.

  • 1st Floor - 3 rooms with max capacities of 2 - 4 people. 2 of these rooms are available on a first-come first-served basis.
  • 2nd Floor - 7 rooms with max capacities of 4 - 8 people. Quiet Floor: Noise must be kept to a minimum.
