Data Management Planning

Increasingly, funding agencies require researchers to submit data management plans (DMPs) as part of grant applications. These plans are structured documents that describe the data management activities for a research project. Researchers show that they have identified, and intend to perform actions to make their research data reusable and openly available.

The DMPTool is an online tool guiding data management plan development according to the requirements of specific funding agencies. Texas A&M University researchers can log in with their NetID and passwords.
