If we do not have the article or book that you're looking for, no problem.
Submit a InterLibrary Loan (ILL) request and get digital articles and chapters or physical books delivered to the library for your use.
Please review the following policies and procedures to ensure that your ILL request can be addressed and completed as quickly as possible.
Complete our InterLibrary Loan request form. While only some of the form fields are required, we encourage you to provide as much detail as possible. You may complete these form manually (by filling in the individual fields), or utilize the "Get it for me at TAMUG" button option within a catalog search. View the following video to see demonstrations of the two methods for completing the ILL form.

Requests for digital materials (journal articles, ebook chapters, or scanned articles/chapters) are usually completed within 2-3 business days. Loan requests for physical items (books, printed manuscripts, etc.) require significantly more time. We ask that you allow 1-2 weeks for delivery of physical items requiring shipping and in-library processing. If you are requesting an article published prior to 1980 or a rare book, locating and processing the ILL request may take longer due to availability.
InterLibrary Loan requests may be made by any TAMUG student, faculty, or staff member. Note that ILL is a service conducted between libraries, rather than between libraries and individuals. We will procure the materials you request (if available) and process your loan internally. If the materials are not available or we cannot complete the request for any reason then we will email you and advise ASAP.
Digital ILL requests will be sent to the email address provided on the form.
Physical items will need to be picked up from the Jack K. Williams Library’s front desk.
Please email Jacqueline Salter at jacsalter@tamu.edu if you have any questions or concerns.
