Textbook & Course Material $ Savings!
The Libraries and University Librarian & Assistant Provost Julie Mosbo Ballestro are firmly committed to finding more affordable solutions for the rising cost of textbooks. Last week, the Libraries surveyed students with whiteboards about how much they spend on textbooks per semester. The Libraries want to know this information because they are actively identifying and adopting low- to no-cost course materials. This effort kicked into overdrive through the development of a new OpenEd program that has already saved Aggie students over $2 million by using Libraries-purchased materials as replacements for traditional textbooks.
