Overcome midterm stress with Midsemester Mash! The Libraries are joining with academic partners to host a series of entertaining, relaxing and engaging events, March 6-20.
THURSDAY, MARCH 6
Midsemester Mash Kickoff | Evans Library Lobby
Play games, make art and discover resources available from the Academic Success Center, University Health Services, the University Writing Center and the Libraries. Activities will include whiteboard graffiti, spin art and crossword puzzles.
Butterfly Breakthrough Workshop |Evans Library Lobby
Transform your midterm mindset with butterfly-themed crafts and a TED Talks-style motivational talk on overcoming academic challenges! Beautiful butterfly bookmarks and origami will be created.
Additionally, the Residential Housing Association will be present in Evans library lobby from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., as part of their “March into Midterms” week. Get FREE snacks and make custom buttons before you study!

Join the Academic Success Center’s workshop to discover how willpower applies to academic success in college, the science behind willpower and how to develop more willpower for yourself.

Make Stress Balls & Paint Flower Pots | Annex 652 | 3 – 4:30 p.m.
Celebrate the first day of spring with University Health Services and the Libraries by making stress balls and painting mini flower pots. Join us for a fun-filled afternoon of creativity as we celebrate the season of renewal and growth.
