Open Access Labs (OAL)

OALs are resources provided by Texas A&M University Technology Services and provide a wide range of computers, software, and printing options. The Texas A&M University Libraries have OAL computers and printing stations at all of our library locations. Guests may also use the computers with a temporary username and password.

evans OAL Labs

Sterling C. Evans Library

OALs are located on the 1st, 2nd, and 4th floors of Evans Library.

  • 1st Floor - 54 OAL computers and several printer, copier, and scanner stations.
  • 2nd Floor - 38 OAL computers, 1 printer, and 1 scanner.
  • 4th Floor - 18 OAL computers and 1 printer.

Annex OAL computers

Evans Annex

OALs are located on the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, and 6th floors of the Evans Annex.

  • 1st Floor - 19 OAL computers and 1 printer, copier, and scanner station.
  • 2nd Floor - 18 OAL computers.
  • Annex 4th - There are OAL computers in the Learning Spaces 3.405, 3.405A, and 3.405B which can be used when there are no classes scheduled. There is also a printer/copier/scanner station.
  • Annex 5th - 42 OAL computers.
  • Annex 6th - There are OAL computers in the Learning Space 3.652 which can be used when there are no classes scheduled.

West Campus Library (WCL)

OALs are located on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors of WCL.

Medical Sciences Library

OALs are located on the 1st and 2nd floors of MSL.

  • 1st Floor30 OAL computers, 1 printer, and 2 scanners.
  • 2nd Floor - There is an OAL computer in each of the reservable group study rooms. This is a Quiet Floor.
*OALs are also located in the Graduate and Professional Student Space (GPS).
